The Shroom & Stipe® is designed to protect your tarpaulin when an extra pole is required to loft the tarpaulin when sagging. 

The ergonomic shape to the top of the Shroom & Stipe® is designed to support any tarpaulin with out puncturing it. It has slots around the rim to enable you to tie paracord out towards the outer poles supporting the tarp for stabilising the centre pole and to have the ability to hang kit off. The Stipe (the stem of a mushroom is called a stipe) can be used with poles that have pegs on the top, such as carp fishing poles. This was designed specifically to be removed incase your poles don't have pegs. The base of the Shroom & Stipe® gives stability to the pole in boggy conditions, designed with slots in it to insert a couple of tent pegs into the ground.
The Shroom & Stipe® can also be used with a central stick/pole to support tipi style tents such as the Polish Lavvu and tarp tents.

Weighing only 53grams (1.8 Ounces), this is a lightweight option to throw in your kit. The slots in the Shroom top & base, also allows you to keep the kit together with use of carabiners. (See above images)
