Steel Blade & Natural Wood Handle
A Chefs knife with a blade that is usually 17-18 cm long, shortened to 13cm for ease of handling.
GLAMP knives are designed for use by those looking for a lighter knife. They are sharp and compact, intentionally shorter than a regular knife. This allows easier control and the force to be transmitted to the blade.
The blade made from molybdenum vanadium steel plate provides a very sharp cutting edge, while a thickness of 1.8 mm ensures it is tough. It is resistant to wear and maintains sharpness for a long time.
The handle is made from natural wood. It fits comfortably i the hands and allows you to hold it firmly. This design is 'full through' with the blade stem sandwiched between the wood to the very end of the handle, and riveted into place. The sturdy construction of this handle makes it easy to transfer force to the blade, allowing you to slice with little effort.
This handle also has a small integrated hook on the handle, making storage very convenient.
Care Instructions:
Hand wash only and dry after use.
Use a wooden or plastic cutting board to maintain the sharpness of the blade. Avoid hard surfaces like glass or stone.
Sharpen regularly using a whetstone or sharpening steel. Regular honing will help maintain its cutting edge.
Please do not use this knife to cut bones, frozen food, or other hard materials as this may chip or damage the blade.
